5 Books To Read This Summer

Whether you’re hitting the beach, the pool or just lounging out back with a cold drink, here’s 5 great books I would recommend you pick up at some point this summer (consider these ‘oldies but goodies’):

 

  1. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn 5 Books To Read This Summer + Free Printable Colouring Page Bookmark
    This novel by Gillian Flynn (who wrote the addictive ‘Gone Girl’ novel) tells the story of Libby Day, who was just 7 years old when her mother and two sisters were murdered in “The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas.” She survived—and famously testified that her fifteen-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, the Kill Club—a secret society obsessed with notorious crimes—locates Libby and pumps her for details. They hope to discover proof that may free Ben. This was a definite page turner for me. I finished this book in 3 days if that tells you anything.
